Painting up a Storm

Aboriginal Animals
Working with tempera paint Students used the theories and styles that we learned about the Aborigines in Australia. They used an animal of their choice, and LOTS dots, to create their compositions.
A little watercolor+some contour line drawings+ creative thinking=Success!
Watercolor Techniques taught through abstract composition.

Using the learned techniques from the above, and some knowledge on landscapes design, we were able to create this amazing composition.

North West Coast Indian Art
Using the symbols and designs of the NWC Indians we created selected animal images.
